Mark your calendars—Joy Prom is happening on Friday, April 11, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Henderson Campus of Compassion Christian, located at 55 Al Henderson Blvd. This unforgettable evening is designed to celebrate life with purpose and provide differently-abled adults with an enchanted prom experience. This year’s theme, "Under the Sea," will set the stage for a night filled with music, dancing, food, and fun.
The evening kicks off with a red-carpet entrance, where each guest will be paired with a volunteer "buddy" to enjoy the night together. Guests can look forward to dancing to the music of DJ Sweet Pete, enjoying a delicious Chick-fil-A dinner, and exploring fun stations throughout the venue, including a makeup table, jewelry, corsages and boutonnieres, and more. At the end of the night, we will celebrate by crowning the Joy Prom King and Queen.
Joy Prom is open to participants 16 years and older. Each guest will receive a souvenir bag, a Joy Prom T-shirt, and prom flowers to make the night even more special. This is an evening dedicated to joy, connection, and celebration, and we cannot wait to share it with you!
